This song was written during lockdown whilst there was a large amount of disruption going on where I live. I escaped through town where it seemed like the world hadn't shut down at all with road works,building works, and large amounts of traffic. I then reached a favourite spot and said to myself ''as long as there's a little piece of heaven. The idea extends to how we live in a noisy world and where we may find some peace and solace within it.

A new day comes knocking and the world comes pouring in.
I wake up to the sound of progress stripping senses thin.
I'll take a side road out from the mornings main drag.
I set out to find the frequency of the silence to distract.

From ten back to zero.
The sound it still persists.
Living in the hum from dawn til dusk, Can we then dismiss?
to join the realm of nowhere in our minds does not exist.
